The Intelix DIGI-HD-4X4 combines professional-grade
performance with comprehensive control options, providing
an easy-to-use, flexible and powerful solution for high-definition
audio/video distribution applications. A true matrix switcher,
the DIGI-HD-4X4 features four HDMI inputs, four HDMI outputs
and four twisted pair extender outputs. The matrix supports
1080i and 1080p high-definition video, and is HDMI 1.3b compliant.
Switching is controlled via a diagnostic front panel interface
or remotely via RS232, IR or ethernet.
In addition, the DIGI-HD-4X4 features four pass-through
IR channels which distribute remote IR commands from in-room
controllers, through compatible Intelix twisted pair extenders,
up to 150 feet over twisted pair cable, and out of the matrix,
allowing complete control of remote sources from the destination.
HDMI
1.3 compliant.Forget HDMI handshake issues,
loss of audio, and video flickers. The DIGI-HD-4X4 features
an HDMI 1.3b chipset, providing the most stable and uniform
platform for HDMI sources and destinations. Plus, the matrix
supports Deep Color and Lossless Digital Audio.
Built-in
twisted pair extenders. The DIGI-HD-4X4
features HDMI and twisted pair extender outputs. If
the destinations are close, use the HDMI outputs. If the destinations
are far away, use the twisted pair outputs and a compatible
Intelix receiver. In addition, the HDMI and twisted pair outputs
are paralleled, allowing simultaneous use per channel.
Smart
negotiation. The DIGI-HD-4X4's on-board
CPU automatically negotiates outputs with various resolutions,
allowing multiple sized monitors from different manufacturers
to be used simultaneously.
Enhanced
control. No matter what the application, the
DIGI-HD-4X4 has you covered. The matrix features front panel
control, Ethernet control, IR control, and RS232 control. In
addition, the matrix ships with a wireless remote control.
Shelf-top
or rack-mountable.
The DIGI-HD-4X4 includes bottom panel mounting feet for shelf-top
applications and 19" rack ears for permanent rack installations.
IR
pass-through.
Tired of third-party IR switchers and patch panels? When used
in conjunction with an Intelix DIGI-HD-IR2-R receiver, the
DIGI-HD-4X4 matrix distributes remote IR commands over twisted
pair cable, through the matrix, and out to local sources. This
means the DIGI-HD-4X4 transmits IR signals from your remote
destination back to the rack, switches them inside the matrix,
and distributes them to your cable boxes, DVD player, or other
local source device.

HDMI audio/video from
four sources are transmitted to an Intelix DIGI-HD-4X4 and
routed to four monitors. The two local monitors are connected
with an HDMI cable, the two remote monitors are connected with
unshielded twisted pair cable.
