Amplifier
The Intelix Audisey Athena combines the
performance of a true matrix mixer with the flexibility and
digital signal processing of a digital amplifier--all in a
single, intuitive package.
Available in 8 inputs by 8 outputs or 16 inputs by 16 outputs,
the Athena features built-in audio preamplification, input
signal processing, true matrix mixing, output signal processing,
and either eight or sixteen channels of independent power
amplification. The Athena provides users with up to 128 system
presets, 64 input DSP presets per channel, and 64 output DSP
presets per channel via the front panel, USB, serial, or over
the internet. Real-time event scheduling software provides
additional versatility.
The Audisey Athena's amplifier provides a pure digital audio
path and is 93% heat efficient. Complete short-circuit, thermal,
and over-current automatic fault recovery ensure piece of
mind.

preamplfier, DSP processor, and multi-channel amplifier in a
single 3RU chassis. The Athena eliminates the need to wire and
program several independent boxes.
Extensive
control options. The Audisey Athena provides
a myriad of user control options and configurations:
a front panel LCD and toggle wheel allow users to adjust
volume and trigger presets
an ethernet provides software control from anywhere with
an Internet connection
dual serial connectors provide computer and serial device
connectivity
a front panel USB connector provides easy computer software
control
a PCMCIA card slot provides optional logic control with
the addition of an Intelix Logic I/O Card
AMX, Crestron, and Cue compatible
Dual
SPDIF connectors. The Audisey Athena features
two SPDIF inputs and two SPDIF outputs for digital applications.
Battery
backup. All response curves, presets, and
current audio matrix values are stored internally in battery-backed
nonvolatile RAM. Even in the event of a power failure, the Athena
saves its settings, ramping all levels back to their previous
values five seconds after power restoration.
Input
and output DSP. The Audisey Athena provides
both input and output digital signal processing (DSP), including:
input preamplification
input gain control
input 3-band parametric EQ
output high and low shelf tone control
output 5-band parametric EQ
output channel volume
time delay
compressor/limiter
Simultaneous
line-level and amplified outputs. The Audisey
Athena features paralleled line-level monitor outputs and amplified
speaker outputs, allowing audio to be sent to both speakers
and line-level devices simultaneously. Each amplifier output
features software selectable amplification up to 100 watts per
channel (400 watts total in the Athena-8, 800 watts total in
the Athena-16). For 25 or 70 volt systems, the Audisey 70V-AM
module provides one-step transformer conversion.
Software.
Free Audisey Athena Designer
Software allows you to monitor, control, and troubleshoot
an entire Athena system from any remote location with an internet
connection. Included real-time event scheduling software allows
you to program repetitive or unique audio activities in a simple
platform closely resembling standard PDA scheduling software.
Pre-programmed
remote controls.Intelix Remote
Control Packs are complete, pre-programmed remote control
systems including wiring accessories, IR to serial control modules,
and push-button remote controls. Designed for the Intelix Audisey
Athena matrix mixer/amplifier, Intelix Remote Control Packs
feature visual and auditory feedback, multiple label options,
and password protection.
Security.
To ensure only legitimate users connect to and control the Audisey
Athena matrix mixer/amplifier, Athena Designer Software includes
an authorized client list providing internal firewall protection
from unauthorized ethernet connections.

for routing contact closure logic commands to the
Intelix MARC matrix.

70V-AM The
Intelix Audisey 70V-AM
provides eight 70 volt outputs for the Intelix Audisey
Athena matrix mixer/amplifier. One 70V-AM module
is required with an Athena-8 system and two 70V-AM
modules are required with an Athena-16 system. The
70V-AM features a rack and panel style connector,
providing a single quick connection point between
the Athena and the 70V-AM module.

Intelix 70V-AM transformer module to be used with

generates RS232 strings for quick and easy programming.
By stepping through a series of simple menus, the
programmer can progressively define specific functions
and the Programmer’s InteliTool will generate
a control string which can be copied for placement
