Intelix HDautobahn Suite Awarded at CEDIA
Middleton, WI- Intelix LLC, U.S. manufacturer of audio/video equipment and software, took home two major awards from the 2010 CEDIA show for their innovative HDautobahn HDMI distribution system: the BEST Award for Top Commercial A/V Technology, as well as a CustomRetailer Exc!te award. Intelix was also a finalist for a 2010 Electronic Lifestyles Best New Product award.
The Intelix HDautobahn Suite is the first system to combine HDMI switching with twisted pair extension and analog upscaling/format conversion, thereby allowing legacy equipment to be integrated into an HD network. Plus, it is the only system to dynamically manage HDCP negotiation and signal bandwidth, guaranteeing HDMI extension over twisted pair cable.
Intelix’s latest addition to the HDautobahn Suite is their DIGI-HD-COAX technology, which transmits HDMI up to 675 feet over a single RG6 or RG59 cable.
Earlier this year, the Intelix HDautobahn system won the SVI 2010 trade award for best matrix switcher.
