Middleton, WI- Intelix LLC, U.S. manufacturer of audio/video equipment and software, recently announced the release of the AVO-VGA2-WP, the latest product in their passive audio/video over twisted pair extender line. The AVO-VGA2-WP extends audio and video signals up to 450 feet over standard unshielded twisted pair cable, such as Cat 5 or Cat 6.

“No matter what the application, your cabling needs to be clean,” explains Cameron Smith, Intelix National Sales and Marketing Manager. “The AVO-VGA2-WP replaces bulky coax with unshielded twisted pair cable and mounts into a standard, single-gang wallbox. Wiring is less expensive, cable pulls are easier, and all the customer sees is a stylish plate on the wall.”

Unlike other passive VGA extenders, the AVO-VGA2-WP features an innovative skew correcting switch to fix video smearing and blurring. The unit also supports hi-fidelity stereo audio.  

For added versatility, the AVO-VGA2-WP features dual 110 punch-down connectors, providing quick termination and multiple destination support. Audio and video may optionally be transmitted to devices in two separate locations. Each unit includes one send balun, one receive balun, and two faceplates. No external power supplies are required.

The AVO-VGA2-WP is ideal for education, government, house of worship, corporate, residential, and any other application requiring VGA video and stereo audio distribution.
