RELEASES 16X16 TWISTED PAIR MATRIX
Middleton,
WI- Intelix LLC, U.S. manufacturer of audio/video equipment
and software, recently announced the release of the DIGI-VGASD-16X16,
a professional-grade switcher which combines Intelix’s industry-leading
twisted pair extender technology with a comprehensive audio/video
matrix.
“The DIGI-VGASD-16X16 is a great example of Intelix’s product
development evolution,” explains Steve Cohan, Intelix C.E.O.
“We were one of the pioneers of audio/video matrix harware—our
paging systems, room combine systems, and A/V switchers continue
to lead the industry—and we were one of the first ProAV balun
manufacturers. Today, Intelix offers the most complete line
of twisted pair extenders in the ProAV marketplace, and it
is only natural that we add a matrix which combines the two
paths of our legacy.”
The DIGI-VGASD-16X16 provides sixteen analog VGA video and
stereo audio inputs which may be distributed to 16 twisted
pair outputs in any combination. In addition, a separate internal
control matrix provides bi-directional RS232 and IR switching
and distributes the control signals through the twisted pair
ports, allowing the remote control of the sources and destinations
connected to the matrix. All of the video, audio, and control
signals are transmitted up to 350 feet on a single twisted
pair cable.
In essence, the DIGI-VGASD-16X16 allows you to switch audio,
video, and control and transmit it all over a single twisted
pair cable to a remote Intelix DIGI-VGASD Series receiver.
The matrix supports resolutions up to 1600 x 1200, features
true hi-fidelity audio, and is compatible with third-party
control systems.
The DIGI-VGASD-16X16 is ideal for education, hospitality,
government, house of worship, corporate, residential, and
any other application requiring audio, video and control signal
distribution.
