RELEASES 1X8 VIDEO, AUDIO, AND CONTROL DISTRIBUTION AMPLIFIER

WI- Intelix LLC, U.S. manufacturer of audio/video equipment
and software, recently announced the release of the DIGI-VGASD-T8,
a professional-grade active distribution amplifier which distributes
VGA video component video, stereo audio, and IR or RS232 control
signals from a single source to eight remote destinations
via inexpensive twisted pair cable, such as Cat 5 or Cat 6.
In addition, the DIGI-VGASD-T8 also distributes 1080i component
video when used with Intelix DIGI-V3SD component video baluns
and conversion cables.
“The DIGI-VGASD-T8 is ideal for digital signage and audio/video
distribution applications,” explains Cameron Smith, Intelix
National Sales and Marketing Manager. “It simplifies signal
transmission and cleans up cabling.”
The DIGI-VGASD-T8 features 1600x1200 VGA and 1080i component
video performance, high-fidelity 20Hz to 20kHz audio performance,
and IR or bi-directional RS232 extension up to 350 feet when
used with Intelix DIGI-VGASD series wallplate or modular receivers.
In addition, the unit also features local monitor support
and is linkable for additional remote destinations.
Retail price for the distribution amplifier and power supply
is $649.95.
