RELEASES DVI OVER TWISTED PAIR DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM

WI- Intelix, U.S. manufacturer of audio/video equipment and
software, recently announced the release of their DIGI-DVI
series of DVI over twisted pair extenders for CEDIA 2007 in
Denver.
“The DIGI-DVI series expands on our current DVI and high-definition
video over Cat 5 offerings,” explains Steve Cohan, Intelix
C.E.O. “The DIGI-DVI series provides enhanced features and
unrivaled performance specifications which were previously
unavailable.”
The DIGI-DVI system transmits high-definition, 1920x1080
resolution DVI-D signals up to 220 feet using a single shielded
Cat 6 cable. Built-in automatic EDID (extended display identification
data) and DDC (display data channel) detection ensures the
source and destination devices properly sync without the added
expense of third party detection hardware.
Initial releases in the DIGI-DVI series include the DIGI-DVIT2R-F,
a one input by two output system, and the DIGI-DVIT4R-F, a
one input by four output system. The DIGI-DVIT2R-F includes
one dual output send balun, one receive balun, and two power
supplies. The DIGI-DVIT4R-F includes one quad output send
balun, one receive balun, and two power supplies. Each unit’s
send balun features a local monitor output for added versatility.
Retail price for the DIGI-DVIT2R-F balun set is $580.95.
Retail price for the DIGI-DVIT4R-F balun set is $710.95.
Retail price for additional DIGI-DVI series receivers is
$314.95.
