INTELIX INTRODUCES
TOUCHTONE PHONE INTERFACING FOR THE MZP MULTI-ZONE PAGING SYSTEM

WI—Intelix, U.S. manufacturer of audio/video hardware and
software, has announced the release of the MZP
Comet-DTMF, which provides touchtone phone interfacing
capability for the MZP Multi-zone
Paging and Program Distribution System.
Now, with the advent of Comet-DTMF, the Intelix MZP
provides an unlimited number of users paging into up to 128
software-definable zones through analog and PBX touchtone phone systems,
independent zone-selectable paging microphones, and other
contact-closure enabled devices. Additional user-friendly features
include bidirectional signaling and paging zone status feedback.
The Intelix MZP system combines a sophisticated, ethernet-enabled
matrix mixer with durable remote controls and intuitive
design, programming, and control software. Because the MZP
matrix truly mixes levels at each crosspoint rather than just
switching crosspoints on and off, the MZP automatically ducks
program material during a page and then smoothly ramps the
music back to its original level when the page is complete.
