INTELIX RELEASES NEW
PRODUCT FOR MULTI-ZONE PAGING & PROGRAM DISTRIBUTION: MZP E
Middleton,
WI- Intelix LLC, U.S. manufacturer of audio/video matrix equipment
and software, recently announced the release of their second
“E” Series matrix mixer—the MZP
E. Ideal for multi-zone paging and program distribution,
the MZP E follows Intelix’s M Series E audio matrix mixer
which was released in April 2003.
The MZP E combines the already popular features of the standard MZP
multi-zone paging and program distribution system with an advanced dual
com port CPU and updated graphic user interface (GUI) for easier setup
and control.
The dual com port CPU card serves both contractors and facility managers,
providing remote system access and monitoring capabilities
over a variety of connectivity options: Serial command messaging
via RS232, TCP/IP LAN, and Internet. Dual com
ports facilitate two RS232 connections: 1) the standard rear
panel connection, and 2) a front panel connection which allows
quick and easy diagnostics without the need to access the
rear of the rack. Furthermore, the CPU is Flash ROM upgradeable—the
system ROM is upgraded through virtual downloads instead of
manually replacing chip hardware.
Ideal for retail, museums, themed environments, office, and
restaurant and bar, the MZP multi-zone paging and program distribution
system gained popularity by offering true matrix mixing (an individual
bus for each destination) up to 128 inputs by 128 outputs, as well as
non-rectangular size capabilities. Included Intelix Designer Software
offers comprehensive setup and control through an intuitive installation
and design wizard.
