INTELIX PARTNERS WITH
BICSI TELECOMMUNICATIONS ASSOCIATION

WI - Intelix, U.S. manufacturer of audio/video matrix equipment,
has partnered with BICSI in a joint effort to broaden the
quality of education in the A/V industry. As of March 31,
2004, Intelix Direct Connect Education
Seminars will count toward BICSI certification.
For more than 20 years, BICSI has promoted problem-solving, helping
communication professionals to better perform their jobs. Their mission
of providing excellent education, promoting skills sharing, and
assessing knowledge has led to an increase in membership from 1,482 in
1990 to over 20,000 today, and several BICSI conferences are held
throughout the world each year.
Similarly, Intelix educates audio/video dealers and consultants
through their Direct Connect Education Seminars—a program promoting
successful audio/video installations. While learning how to design,
install, and operate Intelix systems and components, participants earn
credits toward Intelix Design Certification, a designation awarded to
those who successfully complete a regiment of courses, as well as ICIA
certification. Now, each Intelix Direct Connect Seminar will also count
toward BICSI certification at a rate of 1 RCDD credit, 1 residential
credit, and 1 installation credit per course completed.

Each Intelix Direct Connect is a teleconference which lasts about one
hour—an internet-ready computer and speaker phone are
all that are needed to participate—as well as a short, 15
question quiz on the presented topic. After registering with
Intelix, participants are contacted by Intelix at their scheduled
time and linked with other consultants and dealers who are
attending the same session. Seminars are free of cost and
held four-times weekly, the list of topics rotating.
