Intelix Partners with
ICIA
Middleton,
WI - Intelix, U.S. manufacturer of audio/video matrix equipment,
has partnered with the International Communications Industries
Association (ICIA) in a joint effort to broaden the quality
of education in the A/V industry. As of November 17, 2003,
Intelix Direct Connect Education
Seminars will count toward ICIA renewal certification.
For more than 20 years, the ICIA has promoted education and certification
in the A/V market through complete and comprehensive training.
Their Certified AudioVisual Solutions Provider (CAVSP) program
ensures professional audio/video companies are competent with
the equipment they design, install, and/or rent.
Similarly, Intelix educates audio/video dealers and consultants
through their Direct Connect Education Seminars—a program promoting
successful installations of matrix, mic/line, and automatic mixers.
While learning how to design, install, and operate Intelix systems,
participants also earn credits toward Intelix Design Certification, a
designation awarded to those who successfully complete a regiment of
courses.
Now, each Intelix Direct Connect Seminar will count toward ICIA
certification at a rate of one renewal unit per course, as well as
toward Intelix Design Certification at a rate of one/fifth completion
per course. Sessions include:
- MARC Audio Room Combine Systems
- Installing MARC Audio Room Combine Systems
- MZP Multi-zone Paging and Program Distribution Systems
- Installing MZP Multi-zone Paging and Program Distribution Systems
- M Series Audio Matrix Mixers
- AVM "Audio Leads Video" Matrix Audio Mixer/Video Switcher
- Wiring Intelix Matrix Mixers
- Psychologist Series Remote Monitor Mixing Systems
- Intelix Mic/Line Mixers
An "A/V over Cat 5" balun seminar is also planned for spring of 2004.
Each
Intelix Direct Connect is a teleconference which lasts about
one hour—an internet-ready computer and speaker phone are
all that are needed to participate—as well as a short, 15
question quiz on the presented topic. After registering with
Intelix, participants are contacted by Intelix at their scheduled
time and linked with other consultants and dealers who are
attending the same session. Seminars are free of cost and
held weekly, the list of topics rotating.
