New Balun Product: AVDA-8 Distribution Amplifier Balun

WI- Intelix, U.S. manufacturer of audio/video hardware and
software, recently announced the latest addition to its extensive
line of Cat 5 balun audio/video distribution devices—the AVDA-8
distribution amplifier balun. Ideal for classroom, lecture
hall, retail kiosk, hotel, convention, and trade-show applications,
the AVDA-8 distributes a single audio/video source to eight
outputs and has linking capabilities up to 64 outputs. Transmitting
up to 2200 feet through a building’s unshielded twisted pair
wiring architecture, the AVDA-8 supports up to two channels
of audio and two channels of color video, including S-Video,
and is compatible with the Intelix V1 and V1-ST video baluns,
as well as the V1A2, V2A2, and SVA2 audio/video baluns.
Intelix audio/video baluns are an efficient solution for signal
transmission—without the tangle and cost of multiple bulky coaxial video
and twisted pair cables—utilizing a building’s already existing
structured wiring system for audio and visual wiring needs. While
fulfilling audio/video requirements in office, teleconferencing, and
security applications, Intelix baluns virtually eliminate set-up time
while offering needed flexibility and low cost.
