INTELIX RELEASES V1-AR ACTIVE
RECEIVER BALUN

software, recently announced the latest addition to its extensive
line of Cat 5 balun audio/video distribution devices—the V1-AR
active receiver balun. Designed for video transmission over
extended distances of Cat 5, the V1-AR features automatic
signal gain adjustment ensuring picture brightness, sharpness,
and contrast up to 5,000 feet (1.5 km). Additional features
include ground loop blocking, voltage surge protection, auto-resettable
fuses, and diagnostic LEDs. The V1-AR is compatible with the
Intelix V1 and V1-ST video baluns.
Intelix audio/video baluns are an efficient solution for signal
transmission—without the tangle and cost of multiple bulky coaxial video
and twisted pair cables—utilizing a building’s already existing
